In the midst of those first months of this journey, I picked up a book. A very good book. It was simply a collection of stories from those who found themselves travelling a road that was different than what they had anticipated. It made me laugh. It made me cry. I couldn't put it down.
Of course I borrowed it from a library and cannot even remember the name!
However, it made such an impression on me, because it helped create a voice for the very things that I'd been experiencing, feeling, wrestling with. And it gave me hope. I began to wonder if there could be something similar in a blog format.
A few years later, here we are.
